A Workshop for High School Students - Experiences In Architecture

The Experiences in Architecture program at The Catholic University of America is an intense three week workshop for students interested in architecture. There are no specific prerequisites for the course. Students receive ample instruction and guidance. The city of Washington DC becomes a living laboratory for experience, observation and critical analysis. Students have the opportunity to visit architects’ offices and construction sites, and to meet people involved in the building industry. Lectures and films on the profession explore subjects as diverse as landscape design, building technology, urban design, history and theory.
