Many elite private schools realize that, if they accept every student who applies, they will no longer be able to maintain the level of excellence they reach by schooling only high achievers and/or highly motivated students." [ I'm rather ambivalent about vouchers but I do think it should be obvious that not every kid who gets a voucher is going to get into a school or succeed once he gets in. Further, not every child will get a voucher. What happens to him? -Barry ]
