Detroit Area Residents - Ford/NAACP Career Day
The Ford Motor Company and Detroit Branch NAACP have partnered on the Career Day program since 2000. In it’s fifth year, the program conceived by the Ford African-Ancestry Network (FAAN) and the Detroit Branch NAACP has reached almost 5,000 students from Detroit area high schools, colleges, youth organizations and churches. Parents, teachers and mentors have been encouraged to attend.
Underwritten solely by Ford Motor Company, Career Day creates a forum directed toward youth to help them prepare for their future.
